*:・゚✧*:・゚✧ My yoga journey started in 2015 when I moved away for college. I was recruited as a D1 soccer player, and I became interested in yoga for the physical benefits of equal strength and flexibility training. I started practicing yoga on my off days to aid in recovery. After less than a year, I started really noticing the benefits of my yoga practice for my mental health. Unfortunately, my collegiate soccer career was extremely taxing and eventually I found myself enjoying yoga more than the sport I went to college for. When I decided to quit soccer, I turned to yoga and found myself. Pursuing my personal yoga practice was the point where I chose myself. Yoga started out as an escape from a toxic environment, turned into a self-care routine, and now totally encompasses how I live my life. Yoga has helped me connect to myself in a deeper and embodied way. I couldn't be more thankful for the opportunity to share it with you. *:・゚✧*:・゚✧
